Fire Hydrant Flow Test Request

If you require a hydrant flow test:

• Your contractor must provide all equipment to perform the flow test including dechlorination supplies
• Hydrant sock/diffuser must be used, and your contractor must provide them.
• It is the responsibility of your contractor to complete the flow test.
• All insurance requirements must meet Region of Waterloo insurance pool guidelines.
• There is a $250 fee and a $700 deposit required for this service. If this service is required during the winter months an additional inspection fee of $190 will be deducted from the deposit to cover the cost of salting the roadway to ensure adequate road conditions are maintained. If the results of the test are shared with the Township of Wilmot and no other damage is incurred the remainder of the $700 deposit will be returned.
